Connect With Us

Lake Country Baptist is a Christ-Centered, Caring and Connection-Driven church. Our Connections range from a Children’s Ministry to a Celebrate Recovery Ministry and a multitude of programs in between. The point is everyone is welcome! The common denominator is Jesus; He is at the heart of everything at LCBC. We exist to introduce everyone to Jesus and teach them to follow Him.

We know it can be a little intimidating to walk into a new place on Sunday morning.  Before you visit, here are some helpful tips to make you feel more comfortable during your visit with us:

Where Is Lake Country Baptist Church Located?

We are conveniently located near the intersection of Scuffleboro Road and Crooked Creek Road in Eatonton, Georgia.  Our address is 1259 Crooked Creek Road SE, Eatonton, GA  31024.

What Can I Expect in the Worship Service?

Our Sunday Morning Worship Service begins at 10:30am and typically concludes between 11:30am and 11:45am.  We will soon be live broad casting  and archiving our sermons to our website.  Our Pastor teaches verse-by-verse from the Bible and our worship experience leans more towards that of a traditional service with a combination of congregational hymns, a large choir, and group specials.

Our Wednesday Night Service begins at 6:30pm and includes a combination of praise and worship, prayer, and a time of teaching from God’s Word by our Pastor.  Wednesday nights are very casual and relaxed at LCBC!  Come join us as you are!

Where Do I Go When I Arrive?

You can enter any of the three doors that face Crooked Creek Road. Any of these doors allow you to have access to all of our educational and worship areas.  If you’re standing in front facing our buildings, our Fellowship Hall is located to the far left.  Our Nursery, Children’s, Youth, and Adult areas are all located in the middle portion of our facilities.  And our Sanctuary is located to the far right.  If you have any questions at all, please look for one of our warm and friendly Ushers who wearing name tag on Sunday mornings.  These guys will be standing at the main entrances and are eager to help you navigate your way around our campus.

What About the Kids?

We offer a place for every age group, and each room is designed to maximize your child’s experience and make learning about Jesus fun.  While you enjoy a worship service designed for you, your children will enjoy an experience geared toward their learning level. We offer age-based Sunday School classes from 9:30am to 10:15am and then a dynamic Children’s Church that dismisses from the Sanctuary just before our Pastor begins the message, to our Children’s Church which meets the Fellowship Hall.  The kids are escorted from the Sanctuary together by our Children’s Church leaders.

For students grades 7-12, we offer a great Youth Sunday School experience that begins in the Youth Classroom which is located in the middle of our campus on the main hall of our educational wing.  Our teens worship with us during our main worship service which begins at 10:30 in the sanctuary.

Where Do I Park?

We have designated “Visitor Parking”that is marked by signage in the front of our main parking lot facing Crooked Creek Road.  We encourage you to take advantage of these conveniently located parking spots.  If for some reason you cannot find these or they are full, please look for one of our parking lot attendants who normally stand in the parking lot near the sanctuary entrance to assist those who need help on Sunday mornings.

What Should I Wear?

Come as you are!  We want you to feel comfortable when you join us here at Lake Country Baptist.  You’ll see a variety of dress from casual jeans and t-shirt to suit and tie.  We’re not concerned with the outward appearance.  We simply want you to be comfortable so that you can enjoy your worship experience with us.

Do You Have Coffee?

Yes!  We offer FREE coffee on Sunday mornings in our Fellowship Hall beginning at 8:00am until 9:30am.  Come and join us prior to your visit for some great fellowship and FREE coffee!
